A compressible Direct numerical simulation (DNS) has been conducted to analyze the behavior of a fully developed turbulent channel flow. The problem has been set at mean friction Reynolds number Reτ m = 400 submitted to a high-temperature gradient between the two walls (Thot/Tcold = 2).
