The present paper aims to study 2-D simulations in a rectangular box of the flow dynamics of two feasible PCM candidates for heat storage: the n-octadecane and succinonitrile during the melting process, as they present high and low Prandtl numbers, respectively. In addition, the investigation was planned under different g environments.
